Our mission is to unite all Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) under the banner of the African Union Sixth Region Global, fostering a unified voice, a cohesive community, and a resilient Africa.
CSO Activities
Advocate For Economic Justice
Advocate for policies and strategies that promote economic justice, fair trade, and equitable access to resources for African nations and communities. We work to address systemic barriers to economic inclusion and empower marginalized groups to participate fully in the economy.
Promote Social Equity
Champion social equity and inclusion by advocating for policies and programs that address poverty, inequality, and social exclusion. AU6RG works to ensure that all individuals, regardless of background or circumstance, have equal opportunities to thrive and succeed.
Empower Communities
Empower communities through capacity-building initiatives, education, and skills development programs. AU6RG seeks to strengthen the capacity of local organizations and community leaders to advocate for their rights and drive positive change at the grassroots level.
Promote Human Rights
Advocate for the protection and promotion of human rights for all individuals, with a focus on marginalized groups and vulnerable populations. AU6RG works to raise awareness of human rights issues, monitor violations, and hold governments and institutions accountable for their commitments to human rights.
Facilitate Civic Engagement
Facilitate civic engagement and participatory decision-making processes that empower citizens to actively contribute to shaping policies and programs that affect their lives. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)

Community-Based Organizations (CBOs)
CBOs are grassroots organizations that operate at the local level and focus on addressing the needs and priorities of a particular community or group of people.
Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs)
FBOs are organizations that are affiliated with religious institutions and work to address social, economic, and humanitarian issues based on religious principles and values.
Advocacy Groups
Advocacy groups work to influence policies, laws, and public opinion on specific issues, such as human rights, environmental protection, or social justice.
Professional Associations
Professional associations represent individuals or groups working in a particular profession or field and aim to promote professional standards, education, and networking opportunities.
Trade Unions
Trade unions represent workers in specific industries or sectors and advocate for their rights, interests, and working conditions.
Social Movements
Social movements are large-scale collective actions aimed at bringing about social, political, or cultural change. They often mobilize individuals and groups around a common cause or issue.
Volunteer Groups
Volunteer groups are organizations composed of individuals who donate their time, skills, and resources to support various causes or initiatives, often in their local communities.
