The CSO division is committed to advocating for the economic empowerment, development, and rights of African nations and the global African diaspora. This division plays a crucial role in amplifying the voices of communities, promoting social justice, and fostering inclusive growth across the African continent and beyond.

We work tirelessly to advocate for policies and initiatives that promote economic justice, social equity, and sustainable development, with a focus on empowering marginalized communities, promoting human rights and civic engagements.

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)

NGOs are perhaps the most well-known type of CSO. They are typically non-profit, voluntary organizations that operate independently of the government and aim to address specific social, environmental, or humanitarian issues.

Community-Based Organizations (CBOs)

CBOs are grassroots organizations that operate at the local level and focus on addressing the needs and priorities of a particular community or group of people.

Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs)

FBOs are organizations that are affiliated with religious institutions and work to address social, economic, and humanitarian issues based on religious principles and values.

Advocacy Groups

Advocacy groups work to influence policies, laws, and public opinion on specific issues, such as human rights, environmental protection, or social justice.

Professional Associations

Professional associations represent individuals or groups working in a particular profession or field and aim to promote professional standards, education, and networking opportunities.

Trade Unions

Trade unions represent workers in specific industries or sectors and advocate for their rights, interests, and working conditions.

Social Movements

Social movements are large-scale collective actions aimed at bringing about social, political, or cultural change. They often mobilize individuals and groups around a common cause or issue.

Volunteer Groups

Volunteer groups are organizations composed of individuals who donate their time, skills, and resources to support various causes or initiatives, often in their local communities.

Philanthropic Foundations

Philanthropic foundations are organizations that provide funding and support to charitable initiatives, projects, and programs aimed at addressing social, economic, or environmental challenges.

Think Tanks

Think tanks are research institutions that generate and disseminate knowledge and policy recommendations on various issues, often with the aim of influencing public policy and decision-making.
